The following is a list of childbirth education classes and workshops that are happening around the state of Louisiana. If you offer a class you would like us to add to the list please contact me at LouisianaNaturalBirth@Gmail.com.
The Louisiana Natural Birth group does not endorse any of the mentioned professionals. All professionals listed have different educational levels, certifications, and experience. We strongly urge each consumer to check the references and qualification of any professional prior to registering.

Birth Help Comforts Measures Class
Classes are scheduled from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on May 24, and June 21
Birth Help also offers group childbirth classes:
Saturday classes are held in the Ochsner Physician Building, 9001 Summa Avenue, on the campus of the Baton Rouge General Health Center on Bluebonnet, across from Mall of Louisiana.
Sunday classes are held at Ochsner Medical Center off of O’Neal Lane.
Classes are open to couples birthing at all area hospitals.

SATURDAY, JUNE 2: CLASSES MEET JUNE 2, JUNE 9, AND JUNE 16. THE MAKEUP CLASS, IF NEEDED, WILL MEET ON JUNE 23. 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
SUNDAY, JUNE 24: CLASSES MEET JUNE 24, JULY 1, AND JULY 8. THE MAKEUP CLASS, IF NEEDED, WILL MEET ON JULY 15. 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
SATURDAY, JULY 14: CLASSES JULY 14, JULY 21, AND JULY 28. THE MAKEUP CLASS, IF NEEDED, WILL MEET ON AUGUST 4. 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 11: CLASSES MEET AUGUST 11, AUGUST 18 AND AUGUST 25. THE MAKEUP CLASS, IF NEEDED, WILL MEET ON SEPTEMBER 8. 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22: CLASSES MEET SEPTEMBER 22, SEPTEMBER 29, AND OCTOBER 6. THE MAKEUP CLASS, IF NEEDED, WILL MEET ON OCTOBER 13. 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20: CLASSES MEET OCTOBER 20, OCTOBER 27, AND NOVEMBER 3. THE MAKEUP CLASS, IF NEEDED, WILL MEET ON NOVEMBER 10. 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1: CLASSES MEET DECEMBER 1, DECEMBER 8, AND DECEMBER 15. THE MAKEUP CLASS, IF NEEDED, WILL MEET ON DECEMBER 22. 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
PRIVATE CHILDBIRTH CLASSES
Personalized Childbirth Education is a great option for those who have already completed a group class and simply need a refresher course, more time on a given topic or simply can’t fit a group class into their busy schedule. Some clients also find the nature of the individual class better suits their needs.

I am trying to figure out who to contact to get things added to this site.
I am a coleader of the new Southeast Louisiana BirthNetwork and we are having our Kick-Off Party on Saturday, June 18th from 7-10pm. SELABN aims to improve health outcomes for mothers and babies in Southeast Louisiana through network building, education, and advocacy.
